I tell ya what, the view was just downright gorgeous, sittin' on the porch sippin' my coffee with the sound of the waves rollin' in. The folks runnin' the place were friendly as can be and the local staff really brightened my stay. Found some real good eats nearby too. Can’t wait to be back soon!

Opt for a room with better air conditioning, as it was challenging to keep cool due to gaps in windows and doors.

Our stay at the Bamboo Surf Beach Hotel was frustrating. There was significant confusion regarding our pick-up points, causing us to miss our ride and needing to rely on a TukTuk to reach the property. Additionally, we struggled with insects in our room, particularly ants and large beetles, which made our experience uncomfortable as we found gaps in the doors that allowed them to enter.

what an experience this was. the entire cottage has no doors, so say goodbye to any privacy—good luck in the bathroom. and don’t even get me started on the aircon that decided it was on vacation too. a complimentary upgrade would’ve ve been nice, but apparently, it's just me who expects a little courtesy.

I had an amazing experience staying here for a short getaway with my partner. The view from our beachfront cottage was breathtaking, and I enjoyed having the beach right at my doorstep. The owner was incredibly considerate, especially when my partner got injured during our surf session. he personally offered to drive us to the hospital, which showed just how invested he is in his guests' well-being. The property was quiet and impeccably clean, perfect for a relaxing stay away from the busier areas nearby.

Can't recommend highly enough for a quick break

Charming place, friendly staff, the outdoor swimming pool was great for relaxing after a day of fun, and the convenient location allowed us to easily explore nearby restaurants and the beach just a short walk away, with the airport only 6 km distant.

The beach cottage gave us stunning ocean views, and we loved the beach access for wave riding. The hospitality from the owners was remarkable. they recommended local spots to explore and made our stay feel special.

My kids wished there were more family-oriented activities.

It was just a balanced option for a weekend stopover in San Isidro with excellent value for money. The owner helped us arrange transportation back to the airport and even offered a good discount, which was a nice surprise. Make sure to double-check your pick-up points to avoid confusion.

The location was perfect, directly on the beach with stunning ocean views! The hospitality from the owners and staff was remarkable. they truly made us feel like part of their community. The food options exceeded my expectations, especially the fresh farm-to-table meals that we enjoyed every day. The sea view from our cottage was breathtaking and added to the overall experience.

I enjoyed my time at this beach resort. I appreciated how the staff helped arrange surf lessons right outside my bungalow. George and his team made me feel like part of their community during my stay. The beach offers easy access to water sports, which I took full advantage of. The natural beauty of the area is evident everywhere you look, and I loved every moment spent relaxing by the water.

However, the beach's rocky areas might be off-putting for those seeking a leisurely swim, and the internet connection, though mostly reliable, had moments of instability. Additionally, I experienced a couple of minor power outages during my visit, which can be inconvenient.
